Huh, I could go for some school romance. I look forward to this coming out.

Is there a deeper meaning that I'm just not catching with this piece? It's like when a noble, powerful, and elegant ram creates a bond with an adolescent pup. Either that or the ram's a statue and the dog's just climbing on top of it. Good job either way. I'm not sure if more background color would have helped or hindered the painting.

A beautfiul painting, worthy to hang in a museum (at least in my opinion). All the shades of colors you chose were nice and diverse while still sticking to the realism of the piece). What did you use to make this? Was it hand painted?

ZestyNoodles responds:

Woah thanks! I use Adobe Photoshop for this and most of my digital art pieces. I work with a tablet.

I agree CedricGO below me, the atmosphere is awesome. It provokes so many questions and it is very unique. You could see it as a nightmare or as something else (it hard to tell from the woman's face whether or not she is okay with this or if she is simply just letting it happen or perhaps, her expression is subtle pleasure). The painting altogether makes you think. My only complaints are that I don't know what those two round objects are to the left and right of her and the hand that is near her right breast (touching her hair) looked like it was connected with the one touching her left thigh (on closer inspection, I see the difference).

I hope you'll stay around. You can still get better with doing more pieces of art or you could post sketches you do to here so we can see how you're improving. This is a really great picture so it saddens me a little that you are leaving. Good luck wherever you go.

Darn it. A little more detail on the crow (like an eye) and a touch up on the end of her pony tail and this would have been perfect (the perfect form of itself)! Still, a great piece. You got a thing for short hair girls, don't you? :)

Gel-9 responds:

totally

I'm sorry you're not getting much attention on your artwork. This is pretty nice, not perfect, but still nice. The brush strokes, especially for the green on the waist area are very smooth and makes the picture jump out at you. The girl's face is the most distinct feature of the4 picture so good choice making it the thumbnail. The hair is extremely well done and the face and eyes are very specific in detail. My complaints would be the scarf and arrows, they are very blurred and take away from the realness I see in the picture (I hope I phrase this right, but a painting or a work of art should look like what it is intending to portray and give the viewer this vision. You don't want someone to look at your picture and simply think its a picture, painting, or art. Art literally brings people to a new realm and it is shattered when they see imperfections). I don't know if all of that is right, but basically, the scarf doesn't look right compared to the rest of the picture. My last complaint would be her feet; they look very awkward in that they are almost pointing toward each other. It almost looks like you were planning to make her look like she was walking, but then changed your mind.

Still, it is a good piece and I hope to see more from you in the future.

Gel-9 responds:

thanks for the critique!

Pretty cool, though couldn't you have made this drawing take place a few seconds earlier :)

The purple background color was a great choice (it also matches the color of Zelda's regular princess dress). The shading is good though the stomach area almost looks mechanical (if that makes any sense) as it looks too precise (that's also a pretty big, oddly shaped belly button). I think her eyes and expression is what makes this picture awesome. Great job!

Cartridgeboy responds:

lol about the belly button ^_^ i was trying something a little different. i feel mhee about it. Thanks btw

If it plays as good as it looks, it's going to be awesome!

A few more frames for the sign might do it good (it movement speed isn't constant) and the cloud shifting so quickly and then slowing down is a little strange (I have no idea how long the banner is going to be up before they game starts, but maybe make the clouds move at half that speed and add another one to the cycle). The stars fit in pretty well and I like the colors and the lines you chose (give me that old game feeling, which is good).

Hope your game development project goes well. Let me know if you need any voice acting, beta testing, or script writing done for the games. I'd be happy to help.

Well, this throws everything I've drawn on here to the toilet. I like the shading and detail that went into this. The perspective might be a little off (from where his foot is, it looks like his body should be back farther). This is still great. I look forward to seeing what else you'll make in the future.

DIWAKAR responds:

Woot woot thanx
