Wow, you made that quick! The episode just came out today.

Great job on the artwork!

Awe, it looks so cute. I don't know what you look like in real life, but if you look even half as cute as this, then you are very pretty. Great job though I might suggest putting a background in there.

Awwww, why cancel it? Looks pretty awesome to me and I've never even played Fallout (the environment kind of reminds me of scriptwelder games like Deep Sleep though more like you're looking at it from farther away). The only thing I would have suggest working on was the background behind the door and where the floor is (it looks like the guy is standing on the wall). Well, whatever you're next project will be, I'm sure it will be great. Good luck!

Thanks man. Maybe I will upload some more art from it someday... or even finish it.

Seeing that the comment section is empty and that there is input box for me to submit one fills me with Determination.

But really, I don't comment as much as I used to, but seeing as there were none on this submission, I felt it deserved one. I love the vibrant colors you used in this drawing, the expressions on the characters' faces are awesome, and the art style (along with the color choices) stay very true to the original art by the creator of the game. I also like the inclusion of the red heart. It does seem kind of strange how small she (no gender is stated in game, but I think it's a she) is here compared to everyone else, but it does add to the cuteness and definitely stresses the fact that she's a kid (I also like her expression). Overall, very well done.

On another note, I also checked out the link for buying a t-shirt of this print. I wish the picture was more spread out on the shirt (I don't mean to make it bigger, but in the picture, they're scrunched together and it's cool and funny in the picture, but on a shirt, I just wish they were more spread out. I know there's nothing you could do about that, except for drawing a brand new picture, but I still wanted to voice my thought). Still, I honestly wanted to buy one, which is a feeling that I've never gotten in a long time (and this coming from the person who hasn't boughten a t-shirt in years because I just wear old ones), but it seems kind of pricy. I could understand $15 and even $20, but $27 is really pushing it.

LovelyKouga responds:

Thank you so much for the kind review! I don't get much feedback, you're right, so it's very much appreciated :P
In regards to the squishiness, I was trying to fit it on a standard A3 size poster, which proved difficult considering how tall all the characters are hahah! Looking at it now, I can definitely see what you mean for the Tshirt...If I had been designing it for that purpose, I hopefully would have adjusted it!
Oh gosh is it really $27? I didn't realise x.x I tend to post links to the redbubble because you can get the design on many things not just shirts, and the print quality is the best out of all the other sites I've tried. If you really would like one, Tpublic is OK quality but a nice price: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/322011-this-shirt-fills-you-with-determination

Pretty good picture. Very good work on the shading. As for your thoughts on the game, they're reasonable though the reason Flowey was able to come back to life was the same reason that those weird things in Alphys lab were able to be resurrected; through an injection of determination. The reason that Flowey didn't melt like the others did was because the flower provided a solid body for him to inhabit. As for his emotions, it was more that he had no capacity to love or care for anyone. He could express emotions (evident through his facial expressions), feel frustration, sadness, fear (the last of which he never had to feel because he had the power to reset before Frisk came along), but none of the important stuff like love or happiness.

And about the genocide run, I'm pretty sure the creator made it so it wouldn't be fun, as it seems like he hoped and intended for people to take the no killing run. Unless you are a sadistic person or feel really unattached to the game, the genocide run is heartbreaking and really puts you into the role of a heartless villain (a lot of games don't tend to make you feel bad when you do something bad in a game of choice, but Undertale makes you feel every bump in the road). And as for villains, the real villain is the player, depending on the path they take. Chara might as well just be a name as she had no role than to help set up the plot and "influence" the player. Flowey could be thought of as a living incarnation of Chara's will or at least, that's how I thought of it. But the game really didn't have much in the way of villains. Any evil produced in the game comes from the player.

MarikBentusi responds:

Oh yeah I know that Flowey could come back to life at all because of Determination, but separate of that the only sense "self" that can come back is constructed by their Essence in absence of a Soul. Essence was pretty much just made up for that one character to explain why they're a completely unsalvagable tragedy, which just seemed like a contrivance to me.

I don't think making the genocide run completely unfun doesn't really gel with Chara telling you how you did it all for XP/LV/Gold/ATK/DEF/stats and didn't care about the world/characters, because really most people (from what I can tell) either did it because that's just how they expect RPGs to work or because they really liked the world/characters and wanted to see more dialogue. None of which is part of the point Chara's trying to make from what I can see.

I mean, call them what you want - villains, antagonistic forces, whatever - I'm not really too concerned about semantics. The player definitely didn't produce Chara or Flowey's destructive nature, they're responsible for the Genocide run, which is the third "villain" I mentioned.

Man, that darn cat is everywhere. It seems like this drawing is much shinier than your previous anatomy pose, which I like. I also really like the pose, as it, with the girl's expression, really gives off a cute vibe to it. Your choice of lipstick color is nice and the shading you did with the girl's hair is awesome. The detail you put into the fingers and toes is also good (a number of artist usually ignore this detail or can't seem to get it right).

The only draw back I find is in the knee caps. The black curved line to indicate the knee cap doesn't really look good (perhaps some subtle skin shading would have sufficed), but that's just my opinion. Really good job dude!

Man, that is one angry cat. So for an actual critique, the overall anatomy of the body looks great (I'm glad you didn't hop on the band wagon of giving all your girl drawings big boobs). I like the black and white outline of the art; I don't really know why, but it adds to the cartoonyness of the piece, which separates it from making it look realistic. It's something I've always wanted to learn (that probably didn't make much sense, but just take it as compliment). My only suggestions might be to make the elbows less pointy, the shoulders less flat, and maybe a different color for the lips as it seems to match the hair too much.

Also, I see the letters GW on the foot. Are those your initials?

(By the way, I tried googling it and checking your tumblr. I can't find the uncensured version. Maybe I'm a little too early)

WooleyWorld responds:

Oh yeah thanks for reminding me... I forgot to post it on Tumblr... Haha.

Awesome. Could you introduce me to her? :) (her hair and face kind of reminds me of the invisible girl from "The Incredibles" movie)

WooleyWorld responds:

Violet..

Pretty good though I prefer the short and stubby version of her without the rack. I'd recommend cleaning up some of the outlines, especially around her neck region and under the boobs. Keep up the good work!

LoliSakuya responds:

I prefer keeping my lines dirty mostly because I tend to lose some of the "energy" I had in the lines after I clean them up, if that made any sense.

I very much envy your skills in artwork and animation, especially with the shading. I'm still working on making a pixelated cow burst into flames.

By the way, can you get me the one on the right's number?

WooleyWorld responds:

There are much better artists on this site, though I appreciate your comment.
