You managed to make grass cutting fun. Congratulations! What did you use to make this?

Thanks! Adobe flash and actionscript

I haven't finished the game, but I must say that this is one of the best platformers that I have played in a very, very long time. For some reason, I had a feeling of nostalgia, as if for a moment, I was a little kid again. The music made the game feel like I was playing a Sonic game (and the triangles only increased this since they looked gold and shiny like rings). The mechanics were smooth and from what I could tell, there were no stupid reference to pop culture or any jokes that would kill the mood of fun adventure. A very, very good game!

The game was good. It reminded me of Wolfenstein, just a lot easier in some ways. The enemies could only hit you with melee weapon so all you had to do was keep your distance. The most annoying part was the large amount of enemies, which made it challenging, but at the same time, kind of boring. I also believe that this game should have had a Boss at the end to fight.

The camera control made playing a little annoying, because you couldn't turn around fast enough to shoot enemies. The confined level map was also very bland with very little surprises other than enemies hiding in small corners, which, as the game progressed, became very easy to predict. I'd have enjoyed an enemy who could throw spears or something and maybe some side missions with more furniture (like a sacrificial alter or skeletons on the ground). Still, a good game.

This game was good. My only complaints were the darkness of the screen at the beginning making it hard to see, the mouse delay (that you pointed out in your comment), and the shortness of the game. Please make a longer one! Good job.

This game is pretty good. It deals with many of the things in life that can destroy a person. The blocks and balls are mere physical representations of them.

This was actually more indepth then I was expecting and this could be so far one of your greatest games. It shows a real life problem and how you can make it worse by trying to break down the materials. There are a few problems though. I start with the big ones.
- I remember going through over 20 circuit boards at an acid barrel and getting nothing in return and not being able to use the broken circuit boards in it.
- I don't know how to repair myself even though I know what I can use to do it.
- Sometimes, you can't always reach everything in the game because the character can't fit into small places.
- The attack system is a little off in direction (I had to position myself a little to the side of the enemy to land an attack), but it still works.
- You should probably have a scrambling feature for the items to make each gameplay different.
- I'm never exactly sure when the game will end when I go around a corner. I expected it to go on longer when I saw more robots in the inner area.

Still, don't let this stuff take away from the good. The music is good (you might want to fix the sudden stop in the music before it loops) and the main character reminds me of a rogue discarded iPhone so it is cool. The concept is good. The last piece of advice I have is to add a return to menu button at the end of the game. Really, really great game!

Thanks for the feedback I worked on this game for quite a while and I'm glad to hear you liked it as for the music I noticed that to when I tested it right before I published it. But whenever I play the game as a .swf on my desktop it doesn't do it, so I am really stumped on why it suddenly stops like it does in browser. What I have been doing is taking ideas that I had for games making kinda mini flash games and seeing what people want then expanding on them as need. So I will be making, and expanding C.O.R.E so it feels a little less like a mini game and more like a full flash game. Thanks for the idea of a scrambling feature I planned to just make more maps but if I could just have 2 or 3 maps and have the items randomly generate that sounds much easier.

Definitely a game that requires skill, but also forces the player to memorize the spike locations so there is very little chance of of players getting it right on their first try (but I'm guessing you weren't intending for that, right?). You could definitely make a cool platformer out of this game. You should also probably tell players they can double jump. I only have a few complaints.
- When I jump up to grab a balloon, I go way too high and it takes a while for me to get back down.
- The down button makes you flip, but it doesn't put you right side up afterwards.
- Is the bird suppose to make you fall faster after being hit?
- The lava looked like hot chili at first appearance (though that is alright. Chili can be pretty bad for you :)
- Shouldn't the balloon disappear after you have touched it?

Anyways, it is a good game and I hope to see even more from you in the future!

I wasn't expecting much out of a Stencyl. however, this game was okay, but it could have been so much better. There was nothing to collect and there was no point in exploring other than to find the door or if you were really curious about the game. You could have had the character take pictures of the skeletons or given him a weapon to kill the monsters with (why didn't the monsters harm the main character). You also could have had text pop up in between loading screens after you go through the doors to reflect the main character's reactions to the planet. It may have also been better if the song was a bit longer before it looped. I have to give you credit, though. I didn't come across any bugs which is rare for most of the Stencyl games I play.

Try playing Gyossait on newgrounds if you haven't already to see the potential that Stencyl has to offer users. Good luck with your other games.

Wow, that was quick! Didn't expect to see a game from you so quickly. Was this the game you were referring to before that wanted me to test?

The music was a nice touch and sounded good, but for some reason during the game, it began playing again while it was already playing, overlapping each other and making it very annoying. I had to mute it while writing this. A few other problems.
- You have to jump when you are next to the door to enter it.
- If there is no ceiling or walls and your character goes off screen in the slightest, and you jump into it, you will restart.
- On the second level after the title screen, the character will appear in the upper left corner in the black and you will restart the level. This has so far happened ever time I entered the level.
- On the jungle level, there is an invisible object that blocked me.
- An ending screen would be nice, but this is a test so it is okay.

Things I liked
- Being able to control your jumping height by how long you hold jump. The smoothness of the character's movement.
- The background art when you go back in time was good. Did you make that?
- Some of the jumps were a little difficult so those were good. They challenge the player in skill.
- Thank you for explaining what is going on in the game under Author Comment.

You probably already know about all the problems I'd mention, but I thought I'd bring them up just in case loading it to newgrounds caused the problems. This is indeed an improvement. Very good job.

A pretty good game. It was kind of short though and I think the sound that occurs whenever you jump might get on some people's nerves. That last level was actually pretty tough. Good job!
